Tag, you're it.

Just a little notice to say I activated a tagging system. This will apply to member names and keywords.

So, if you want to tag another member, say like... @Mintei or @Risuna, the mentioned member should get a notif. (This is me trying out the feature for myself right now)

If the username has a space in it, you'll have to encase the name in " ". So,

Code:

@"username with spaces"

rather than

Code:

@username with spaces

Of course, there's limitations, because it's a simple script. Tagging things with special characters and the like won't work well.

Some example that won't work

@test@sd.com
@<3Natalia<3
@#Natalia (# Hashtag will be taken into account not @)
@ won't be taken into account inside code

As for keyword tagging, it's just your usual hashtags on pretty much every other form of social media.

So. #hello #mintei

You can click tags, and get a list of posts with the same tag in. Similarly, you can track tags too. The area that controls that should be in your Profile settings, under 'Tags'.

EDIT: On that point, I don't even know if the tags are working. I'll keep an eye on this.

So, I think I covered it all there.
If it gets abused or it all kinda goes wrong (I automatically expect things to break by this point), report it to me and I'll either deal with the issue or just deactivate the function.

Oh, and I just activated the toolbar, as I'm sure you've noticed.

If you have any thoughts or complaints about it, let me know, but it's something I'm just learning to use, and it'll likely change as the night passes.

In short, it should essentially function like a quick access point for simple things. Like, profile, PM, and notifs.

If you want them, I can have a search bar up there, and share buttons. I do have an edit for adding avatar images there too, like we have on the last post area on the main page. Let me know if you want me to try it. (who knows why we need social media share buttons)

Notifs!
You can edit what you get notifs for, and if you also get email alerts or not, by simply clicking on it and going through "See all notifications".

P.S. I'm aware it doesn't seem to work on mobile devices. You're better to just hit the grey arrow and hide it.
